![]() ![]() where I'm old enough to remember and have things like Age of Empires CD, box, manual, and fold out tech tree poster. ![]() All they really do is provide download servers and act like a mafioso skimming off the top of real workers, and enabling the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that modern gaming has come to of lootbox in-game micro b.s. If Valve doesn't like it maybe they shouldn't have tried positioning themselves as some kind of ultra ♥♥♥♥♥♥ monolith corporate middleman like EA or Dell. So me picking this up on Epic is no big deal to me. If they ♥♥♥♥ Steam over I really don't care because I've already got 70 titles on Epic, although of those something like 20 are games I already have elsewhere and majority are free games. See part of the problem here, is you've got so many people who don't even like Steam at this point you're not getting the backlash you want. Epic gives out weekly free games too, which compared to Steam's unfair practices and them shutting down a lot of good sales in return for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Steam store I don't want my PC platform to be a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ phone game, I don't want ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ emojis, I just want good summer sales, working games, and a platform that's not turned to phone garbage. In fact since late 2019 when I finally ditched Steam except being stuck with the platform for all the money I wasted here on a few hundred titles I've accumulated something like 300 titles on GOG in just that last couple years. ![]() I've already switched to purchasing nearly all my games on GOG instead, with a rare few on Epic like Watchdogs and The Division 2. I would unironically rather buy it on Epic at this point. ![]()
